Music Area Lead

£30,505 – £33,796 pro-rated for part-time

An exciting opportunity to work within the music team to develop music education opportunities within Cheshire West and Wirral.

The role will be responsible for creating a music environment for a defined geographical area which engages, enthuses and inspires all children. You will develop, maintain and enhance relationships with key personnel in schools, families and community organisations. You will manage a small team of tutors/teachers and ensure they are deployed effectively.
We will consider applicants either part-time or full-time.

You will achieve this by developing, maintaining and enhancing relationships with key personnel in schools and also with families, community organisations and other partners. You will manage a group of tutors/teachers. You will innovate by providing a range of new activities to develop the current range of opportunities in accordance with the needs analysis for the area and to support growth of the service. You will deliver an offer which ensures customer satisfaction is at the heart of all we do. You will be a role model for all staff you encounter and will uphold the values and ethos of the Company.

The role is temporary to August 2020 in the first instance. We would expect to extend this role if grant funding is extended and performance targets are met.
