Music Administrator

The award-winning Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) is seeking a new Music Administrator to carry out the administrative aspects of our school service level agreement (SLA) buy-in and subsequent Tutor timetabling. They will also administer and help run training sessions for our service users, and help out at our out-of-school music centres.

This is a busy full-time position based at the Lyric Hammersmith, and the postholder will occasionally need to travel to schools and partner premises to minute meetings and help out at events. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable individual to work in conjunction with our other Administrators to meet the needs of our busy service.

This position would suit a candidate looking for a varied role in education administration who enjoys working with children. As well as SLAs, the role will have specific responsibility for other areas including exams and some safeguarding duties, so being able to balance a varied workload is pivotal to this role.

Given the nature of our service, this role would be best suited to someone with experience in arts administration, or an administrator with a musical or other creative background, however applications from all previous areas of work / study are welcomed.

Who we are
The award-winning Tri-borough Music Hub (TBMH) is the lead organisation that oversees the delivery of music education in three west London boroughs – the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham; the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea; and the City of Westminster – working with schools, pupils and the workforce. It is a centralised Local Authority service which receives core funding from the Department for Education via the Arts Council England.

The TBMH Strategic Partners are two internationally renowned organisations – The Royal Albert Hall and The Royal College of Music. In addition, a dedicated and quality-assured group of delivery partner organisations work to meet the TBMH’s strategic aims.
