South Hampstead High School, one of the UK’s leading schools, are seeking an experienced musician/music graduate with keyboard skills sufficient to deliver aural classes up to grade 6 to join our department as a Music Administrator.

You will support the smooth running of the department, helping with the management and organising of school concerts and liaising with staff on teaching arrangements and also assist with the organisation of exams and trips. Using your keyboard skills, you will deliver aural classes to Junior School girls in the run up to ABRSM exams.

You will also be responsible for general departmental administration, such as photocopying, printing off rehearsal schedules and writing lunch passes. There will be many opportunities to be involved in the Department’s extra-curricular programme, and other teaching/coaching opportunities.

If you have high quality musicianship and excellent administrative skills and the ability to work under pressure we would be delighted to hear from you.

This role is for 36 hours per week, term-time only. The standard 36 hours (excluding a lunch break) are usually worked from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. However, you will be required to be flexible with your hours as musical events often take place in the evening. Time off in lieu will be given.
