Instrumental Tutors: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Drum Kit, Bassoon

£30 per hour

Due to a surge in demand, we are looking for enthusiastic and engaging peripatetic instrumental tutors to join our team delivering outstanding 1-1 and small group instrumental lessons at our Music Centres and in various Merton primary and secondary schools. Previous experience working in a primary or youth group context is desirable.

Vacancies:

  • Piano (school lessons): 5 hours on a Friday in SW19; 3.5 hours on Wed or Fri in SW19; 3 hours on a Wed AM in SM4; 2:40pm-4:40pm day flexible in CR4; 2 hours 15 mins day flexible (Mon, Thur or Fri preferred) in SW17; 5 hours on a Friday (flexible) in SW20.
  • Bassoon & Piano (Music Centre): 4:30pm – 7:30pm Mondays in SW19
  • Drum Kit (Music Centre): Mon, Tue & Wed 4pm – 7pm in SM4 and Wednesdays (school lessons) in SW19 & SW20 – hours TBA.
  • Voice/Singing – (school lessons / choir) 2:15pm – 4:15pm, day flexible in SM4
  • Guitar – classical and electric (school lessons): hours / days negotiable

Merton Music Foundation (MMF) is an independent music service and lead partner for the Merton Music Education Hub. The charity is nationally renowned for providing high quality, comprehensive and inclusive music education programmes for the young people of Merton and surrounding areas.
