Gloucestershire Music are seeking enthusiastic, passionate instrumental tutors to cope with a rising demand for peripatetic tuition within Gloucestershire.

As Gloucestershire County Council’s music service at Gloucestershire Music we strive to deliver the best quality musical education to all young people and schools within Gloucestershire. We are seeking specialist tutors in upper strings, woodwind, vocal, brass and piano to join our team to deliver small group/individual tuition and encourage all of our tutors to take on WCET sessions. CPD and regular 121s are scheduled to help tutors improve their skills and build up their timetables.

Successful applicants will ideally be proficient in their specialist instrument to diploma level and will initially be employed through a local temp agency with the prospect of applying for more permanent, flexible contract opportunities in the near future. A driving licence and access to a vehicle will be needed to travel to and from schools. Two references will be requested following an interview which will include a short performance demonstrating the applicant’s instrumental skill.

Successful candidates will require a clear enhanced DBS check in order to commence work.
