Instrumental Tutor and Whole-Class Ensemble Director
We’re currently recruiting for two roles: a Choral Director, an Instrumental Tutor and a Whole-Class Ensemble Director. If you feel your skillset combines aspects of both vacancies we may consider a combination for the right candidate.
Instrumental Tutor (full time and/or part time)
The instrumental tutor will provide one-to-one and small group lessons on one or more of piano, organ and accordion. Supporting the development of our choir members, this role allows children in the choirs to have a holistic approach to music through both instrumental development and regular choir rehearsals, Masses and performances. The role also allows children who have been part of our Whole Class Introduction to Keyboard Studies sessions the opportunity to progress and improve their skills by taking a lesson during their school day.
Pay scale from £28,800 to £33,800 FTE.
Whole-Class Ensemble Director (0.8 FTE with the option of full time)
Working from a comprehensive two year learning scheme, the Whole Class Introduction to Keyboard Studies sessions provide children with their first interaction with a musical instrument. This inspirational approach allows children to experience the feelings of playing in an ensemble; developing their musical skills and introducing the possibilities of playing piano, organ, or accordion.
Pay scale from £28,800 to £33,800 FTE.
