Lancashire Music Service are seeking instrumental teachers in all disciplines (especially Strings and Woodwind and including Music Technology) to teach 1-1, group lessons and whole class lessons across the county.

Lancashire Music Service have been established for over 60 years and is the current lead partner for Lancashire Music Education Hub, delivering tuition to over 20,000 pupils a week in a variety of settings.

We have an extremely high demand for lessons across the county, and aim to inspire pupils of all ages to develop a love of music making, whether that be in schools or as a part of one of our County Ensembles.

The lessons form part of our progression strategy, from Whole Class Tuition, into 1-1 or a group lesson, and then onto an ensemble group, be that a County Ensemble or a group at one of our Music Centres.

To apply, you will have an enthusiastic and energetic approach and an open mind to learning new techniques and approaches. QTS is not required, although experience of teaching is desirable, and the ability to teach more than one instrument or instrumental family is also desirable. You will also be computer literate with experience of using music technology, with good organisational skills.

Please note this is a self-employed role, and may involve teaching at several schools in one day.
