Instrumental Trainee Teachers & Singing Champion

Salary: £18,278 for trainees; £10,000-10,800 for singing champion

Trainee instrumental teachers will support our whole class ensemble teaching in schools and inspire and enthuse children to participate in city ensembles. They will gain a solid grounding in instrumental teaching with practical training, learning on the job and the opportunity to gain a recognised Level 4 qualification (Certificate for Music Educators). The Certificate for Music Educators is a key element of the trainee programme and progress will be reviewed throughout the year.

The Singing Champion should be an enthusiastic and committed singing specialist with relevant ability and aspirations to support Senior Management in developing, delivering and promoting our ambitious singing programme and activities in Nottingham City schools. This is a part-time position (two days a week).
