£24,685 – £26,176 depending on experience

We are looking to recruit an upper and lower string specialist on a 0.4 contract (2 days per week). We are also looking to expand our Guitar staff – no specific hours at present.

Teachers of Upper Strings, Lower Strings and Guitar

Unqualified Salary: £24,685
Qualified salary: £26,176

We are seeking to expand our pool of teachers to deliver instrumental and vocal tuition to individuals, small groups and whole classes in schools across the Birmingham area. There is immediate work available from Spring Term 2019.

Teachers must be enthusiastic and committed team members, willing and able to travel within the Birmingham area, and happy to work in a variety of schools across this diverse city.

The Music Service is an admitted body to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme. Services for Education has a focus on staff wellbeing and development. All sessional teachers receive an iPad for routine teaching and administration and benefit from the annual cycle of training and development.
