Bolton Music Service is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced string teacher to cover maternity leave. You will join a high performing and experienced team of string teachers and will be required to teach whole classes, groups and individuals in schools and to direct and support string ensembles at Bolton Music Centre. We are looking to cover a full-time post but will consider applications for part-time working.

The successful applicant will have a passion for teaching in schools, for inspiring young people to engage with music, and will be an excellent team player. You will have experience of teaching whole classes in primary schools, and also teaching individuals and groups to a high musical standard. You will demonstrate a high level of personal musicianship and this will shine through your teaching.

Bolton Music Service is the lead organisation in the Greater Manchester Music Hub. You will have the chance to interact with colleagues and partners from across the region. You will lead and support string ensembles, and contribute to the Bolton Music Service training programme for schools and teachers.
