Instrumental Teacher/s – Brass and Singing
Combine your passion for teaching and music and come and join us at Kent Music! We are seeking dynamic and committed brass teacher/s and singing teacher/s to start with us from January 2024. Teaching is available in various schools and centres across Kent.

Salaried Brass Teacher
This role will be required to teach across Sevenoaks, Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge & Malling, and at the West Kent (Sevenoaks) Music Centre on Tuesdays 4:00-7:00pm.
Variable hours Singing Teacher
Currently required for two areas:
- Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells, and at the West Kent (Sevenoaks) Music Centre on Tuesdays 4:00-7:00pm;
- Dartford, Gravesham, and Maidstone, and the Gravesham Music Centre on Wednesdays 4:00-8:00pm.
Candidates can choose to apply for one or both of the Kent Music geographical areas listed above.
Variable Hours Brass Teacher
This role will be required to teach across Folkestone & Hythe, and Dover.
Teaching is available in various schools and centres across Kent, the details of our required locations are shown above. Our teachers form part of a larger team of instrumental and vocal teachers working across Kent to deliver high quality and inclusive music tuition to children, young people, and adults in one to one, small group and whole-class settings.

Job Details
Teaching takes place in schools, during the day, and in our music centres, that are open during evenings and on Saturday mornings. Salaried teachers will be required to teach one-to-one and small group lessons, whole class lessons, and to lead ensembles; Variable Hours teachers will have the opportunity to choose to teach in the aforementioned formats. We provide training and upskilling and a line manager to support you in your role.
Kent Music operates across four geographical areas. Each area is overseen by an Area Manager, supported by an Area Administrator.
