Instrumental Music Tutors – Orchestral Strings and Guitar

Contract: Permanent, salaried position on Teachers’ terms and conditions (unqualified scale 3-6)

Orchestral Strings

• Teaching Violin/Viola/’Cello and Double Bass to small groups (3-4 children) and individuals in primary and secondary schools throughout the borough
• Directing a String orchestra on a Friday late afternoon at our music centre
• Working two days per week (including a Friday)

Guitar

• Teaching Guitar/Ukulele to whole classes of Key Stage Two age children in primary schools throughout the borough
• Teaching Guitar to small groups (3-4 children) and individuals in primary and secondary schools throughout the borough
• Working three days per week
