We are looking for someone to manage our extensive stock of instruments/equipment that is used to support peripatetic tuition, whole-class curricular tuition, ensemble work and events. Ensuring the young people of Lambeth are able to access the instruments and equipment they need for their musical journey is a vital part of our mission, and this role is critical to achieving this.
The successful candidate will be highly organised to work within a flexible framework and timetable (occasional work on Saturdays and during school holidays will be required), have instrument repair skills, be computer literate, and able to both self-manage and work as part of a team.
This post is offered on a fixed-term contract until 30th August 2023 (in the first instance).
The post holder will be contracted to work 78 days per year (26 days per school term); one fixed day per week and other time worked flexibly in response to service needs by agreement with the line manager.
