Working with the Kent Music team, schools, and partners you will work on exciting new strategies and opportunities to make a real difference to the music education of all our learners.

This would be an ideal position for someone with a background in both ED&I (equality, diversity and inclusion) and music. We are looking for a champion of inclusion who is keen to make a mark on improving and developing musical access and inclusive practice in Kent.

About the Role

Part time, 15-22 hours per week

Permanent, Job share (full time is 37 hrs/week)

This is a job share, with strategic responsibility for working across Kent Music and the wider music hub, leading on the design, communication, and implementation of Kent Music’s inclusion strategy in response to the business plan and national initiatives including the National Plan for Music Education. The post holder/s will champion inclusion and will support colleagues to develop their strategies in line with the aims of the inclusion strategy.

The post holder/s will work across many of the key strategic areas of Kent Music and will need to be able to work collaboratively as well as manage a complex workload. The ability to take initiative, work independently and communicate across teams will be essential to the success of the role.

There may be opportunities for the post holder/s to support practically in the delivery of music projects and the running of professional development.
