Head of Music and Creative Practice

£45,000 per year pro rata Travel, accommodation and subsistence is provided.

Orchestras for All seeks a Head of Music and Creative Practice who will lead the artistic vision of Orchestras for All, working alongside the Head of Wellbeing and two Youth Creative Associates (OFA Alums) to shape ambitious, inclusive and youth led creative programming for the charity.

Hours: Up to 2 days (15 hours) per week. There may be some weeks with additional days of work during our residentials twice per year.

Contract: Part-time fixed-term contract until August 2028, with potential to extend to August 2030.


The role requires both visionary leadership and a deep commitment to young people, ensuring that Orchestras for All’s creative practice is ambitious, challenges convention, amplifies youth voice and models what an inclusive, accessible orchestra can truly be.
