Head of Learning Pathways
We are seeking a dynamic music educator to work with the Academy Director to develop a curriculum and recruit and manage the teaching teams.

Brent Music Academy (BMA) is an exciting new charitable organisation providing accelerated music, performance and industry learning opportunities coupled with pastoral and financial support to eliminate barriers to the music industry for young people from diverse backgrounds in the London borough of Brent and North West London. Following successful registration as an independent charity (no. 1204014).
Head of Learning Pathways
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 FTE (Pro rata 0.2. One day per week)
The BMA Head of Learning Pathways will be the second administrative staff member of the new charity and will be critical in helping to develop the structures and ethos for the organisation’s future. Working alongside the BMA Director, this role will include developing a fit-for-purpose curriculum, designing procedures to monitor quality and student progression, liaising with families and partner organisations, and supporting creative, group-based tuition in musicianship and related skills for able young musicians from across genres and styles. Also jointly responsible for recruiting, leading and training additional staff and professional tutors from across the various roles of the industry, the postholder will play a key part in driving the Academy culture, placing inclusion and excellence at the heart of everything the Academy works to achieve.
This post requires the applicant to be available on Saturday mornings and afternoons during BMA term times.
