The Head of L&P (Learning & Participation) will lead the expansion and development of NYJO’s Learning & Participation work with Music Hubs and other partners throughout the UK. You will be joining us at a pivotal time, as we move into our new home in Woolwich Works and emerge from the pandemic.

This new edition of the charity will be creative and ambitious, reflecting the contemporary jazz landscape and its audiences, and the charity’s commitment to building a joined-up national jazz education infrastructure which meets the needs of aspiring young musicians from all backgrounds and postcodes.

Together with our new CEO, Susie York Skinner, and Senior Management Team, you will work to develop the charity’s Learning & Participation programme, leading the development of the new strategy from 2022 onwards. You will have full responsibility for managing the L&P Team and be proactive in forging beneficial partnerships and networks and ensure NYJO has a strong voice within the world of music education at local, regional and national levels throughout the UK.
