Brent Music Service is seeking to appoint a dynamic, aspirational and experienced teacher to lead our Instrumental and Vocal Lessons Programme, Wider Opportunity Programme and Endangered Species Programme.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach individual, small group and whole-class instrumental lessons and lead an ensemble, as well as manage the programmes and line manage the tutor teams.

The successful candidate should be an excellent practitioner and player/singer who has worked in a range of schools and settings and can model outstanding practice.

The role includes recruitment , training and management of staff, monitoring of standards, strategic development and liaison with schools and partner organisations, families and BMS tutors, as well as organising large- scale performances and events.

Required from September 2019
Pay: Inner London Teachers’ Pay Scales + TLR 2 (£3922) or hourly paid, commensurate with experience
