Alongside a teaching commitment, based on your specialism, you will lead on the Music Hubs relationship with schools and be a key contact for support and advice
Redbridge Music Service is the lead organisation of the North East London Music Education Hub and enjoys a reputation for very high quality music education. Our pupils present over 50 concerts per year; venues this year have included the Royal Albert Hall, the Barbican and Buckingham Palace.
We are keen to recruit senior leaders who are outstanding teachers and musicians and can help us maintain the quality of our provision and contribute to innovation. We believe in investing in our teachers and the majority of your team will have permanent full or part time roles on Teachers Pay and Conditions. In return we expect a high level of engagement from our teachers and you will work with team of teachers dedicated to providing the best opportunities for our young musicians.
You will be based at our well-resourced Music Centre which is home to Redbridge Music School and numerous bands, orchestras and clubs and will work in schools around the London Borough of Redbridge.
Enhanced DBS checks will be undertaken as part of the recruitment process.
As part of our pre-employment checks, applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening, which will include checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
