This is an exciting new self- employed post working with the Choir Schools’ Association, supporting and promoting UK choir schools and their choristers. Members provide an excellent education to some 25,000 children including choristers as well as unrivalled musical training from the age of 7+. The successful appointee will work with the Committee as the Association starts a new chapter in its history.

With the retirement of the Association’s current Administrator in August 2021 and the retirement of the Information Officer soon after, the Choir Schools’ Association is looking to combine these roles and create a new position which, under the guidance and direction of the Committee, will evolve to provide professional support to the Association and its members on a self- employed basis.

The post will be home-based and incorporate the administration of the finances of the Music and Dance Scheme in conjunction with the Department for Education.

The post holder will carry out membership administration, collecting subscriptions, managing income and expenditure, organising minutes and conferences and taking minutes, maintaining the website and assisting with future planning for the organisation.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a passion for choral music, education and wishing to make a difference to young lives!

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, with leadership experience and some knowledge of schools and the Anglican Church.
