General Manager
London’s leading children’s choir group, directed by Grace Rossiter and with 200 singers aged 4 to 18 across five choirs, is seeking a part-time General Manager with a music or arts-based background, to act as the primary liaison point with the membership, working closely with the Music Director and the committee and with venues and external clients.

FCMG (Finchley Children’s Music Group), founded in 1958 with Benjamin Britten as its President, is London’s leading children’s choir with 200 singers aged between 4 and 18 across five choirs. Under the direction of Grace Rossiter since 2001, the choirs are well known for their natural, vibrant vocal quality and high level of musicianship and professionalism.
In addition to our own regular self-promoted concerts, FCMG is frequently invited to take part in performances of larger choral works with world class conductors and orchestras and in recordings for radio, television and film. We also commission new repertoire from leading UK composers, as we did with new ambitious works for our recent 60th anniversary.
We are seeking a part-time General Manager (FTE 0.6) with a music or arts-based background, to act as primary liaison point with the membership, working closely with the Music Director and the committee and with venues and external clients.
The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills; a genuine passion for participatory arts; the ability to work independently and alongside a committed team of volunteers; and meticulous computer skills across a range of tools.
