Gloucestershire Academy of Music (GAM) is a not-for-profit charity, founded 40 years ago to give children and young people access to high quality music education and associated arts activities.
Reporting to the Chair of Trustees and working closely with the Artistic Director, the Executive Director has the responsibility for the management and successful delivery of the institution’s education programme to its 1,800 students and the efficient and effective operation of the organisation.
With three direct reports and shared responsibility for the 50-plus teaching staff, GAM is looking for a candidate with management experience in the arts or charity sectors and who has skills in strategic development, business planning, organisational management, budget management, project management, bid writing and marketing.
