Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Orchestras for All seeks a freelance Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to bring knowledge and experience of child protection and safeguarding to our team at National Orchestra for All (NOFA) events and residentials throughout the UK.

We would encourage applications from individuals with experience of supporting young people with Adverse Childhood Experiences, Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges (especially social or pandemic anxiety), or young people with neurodivergent issues (especially Autism). The role would complement candidates working in school term times as the majority of the activity takes place in school holidays and/or weekends.

The successful candidate will be driven by supporting young people to overcome a variety of difficulties and be convinced the impact that making music with others can have on their wider lives.
