As our Data and Billing Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our customers being the friendly voice at the end of the phone or the wordsmith responding to the wide variety of requests received daily in the service’s shared inbox in relation to invoices.

The role is key to keeping our database up to date and enrolling students to the many lessons we offer as well as keeping our music tutors informed of all students enrolled to receive lessons.

You will need to develop an in depth understanding of our database (SpeedAdmin), be able to record the information correctly, produce a variety of reports as well as be the in-house expert for billing for the variety of services and activities we offer.

Excellent numeracy and analytical skills are essential to this role and will be called upon at all times.
This role also requires the use of many IT based software (knowledge of SpeedAdmin and S4Hana would be a plus) and a solid knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel as well as very strong organisational skills.

We welcome applicants with a minimum of A-level, NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant qualifications to apply. This role requires the use of many IT based software, experience of billing processes and a solid knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel. Knowledge and understanding of databases is essential. Training on our database (SpeedAdmin) and finance software S4Hana will be provided but existing knowledge would be a plus. Excellent command of the English language, good customer service and listening skills as well as patience are of crucial importance when answering the phone and responding to customers queries over the phone. Good numeracy skills are essential to reconciling and vetting invoices submitted by our team of self-employed teachers as well as ensuring an accurate billing process.

As this role is very varied, very strong organisational skills are required.
