Opportunities exist from September 2017 to take part in our Intern Programme, if relevant, and teach, lead and direct ensembles. We welcome teachers who could also coach on the prestigious Academy@Maestros programme for gifted and talented students, as well as support the development of Berkshire’s renowned county youth orchestras (for example Berkshire Youth Symphony Orchestra and Berkshire Youth Guitar Orchestra). The ability to play piano or offer a further discipline would be welcome.
Full- and part-time teaching contracted positions are available for the right candidates and opportunities for hourly paid work can also be arranged. We offer competitive remuneration between £18.5 – £31K subject to qualifications, skills and experience, with pension and car allowance for contracted positions. Successful applicants will require access to a vehicle and possess a full driving licence.
Berkshire Maestros is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
