Casual Instrumental, Vocal & Curriculum Teachers

Based in Staffordshire and working in the North, Central and Eastern regions of the county, the music service is seeking to recruit to its team of teachers for regular commitments and cover work in Staffordshire schools.

Successful applicants will be required to deliver a range of activities, dependent on their competencies and experience, across all key stages including whole class teaching, small group instrumental & vocal teaching and ensemble rehearsals.

Casual Instrumental, Vocal & Curriculum Teachers

Rates of Pay: £17-£28 per hour depending on competency, potential and experience.

Contracts: Casual Hours, Entrust Terms and Conditions

Following probation, and where regular hours are established, permanent part-time contracts are available within the following salary range: £23,000 – £33,000 FTE.

• All teachers enable the widest access to music-making for young people.
• A commitment to learning and development is essential
• A teaching qualification is desirable and is essential for school curriculum work.
• Some evening and weekend work may be required and the ability to travel between schools and other venues is essential.

Further hours may be available through our Music Education Hub partners in Stoke-on-Trent, Telford & Wrekin and via the In Harmony programme.
