Contract: Part-time: 3 days per week, flexible working

DaCapo Online is an innovative digital music education programme helping nursery and primary school teachers bring high-quality, engaging music lessons to children, regardless of their own musical experience.

Developed from over 35 years of experience at the DaCapo Music Foundation, our programme is designed to make excellent music education accessible to every child.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, personable and well-organised Business Development Manager to help us introduce DaCapo Online to schools and Music Hubs across the UK.

This is a varied and rewarding role combining sales, relationship-building, administration and social media. You will be identifying and contacting potential customers, arranging demonstrations, following up enquiries and helping to develop our communications and online presence.

You don’t need extensive sales experience. You will work closely with a highly experienced sales and education consultant who will provide regular mentoring, training and practical support.

We are particularly interested in someone with a musical background, excellent communication skills, initiative and a genuine enthusiasm for helping more children experience the benefits of music education.

What we offer:

  • A flexible, three-day-a-week role, with a combination of remote working and occasional meetings and events.
  • An initial salary of £18,000 per annum, plus expenses for work-related travel and events.
  • Expert mentoring and professional development.
  • The opportunity to build valuable experience in business development, sales and marketing.
  • A friendly, supportive environment and the chance to grow with an ambitious music education programme.

Most importantly, this is an opportunity to combine your musical interests with a role that can make a real difference to children’s education.
