Brass Teacher

£23.25 per hour

Required from February 27 2017 (or as soon as possible thereafter).

Approximately 17 hours per week with the opportunity to increase hours following successful pupil recruitment. The post does involve work on Thursday and Friday evenings and also on Saturday mornings.

The position will be hourly paid.

The successful applicant will be required to teach both small group/individual lessons and work as part of our Whole Class Ensemble Tuition programme. A passion for widening access to music for all children, a proven track record of excellence and the ability to motivate young people to achieve their potential are all essential. You must be able to teach across the range of instruments in the Brass family and experience of directing Big Band or Jazz Bands would be an advantage.

A full driving licence and access to transport is essential
