Brass Instrumental Tutor
We are seeking brass instrumental tutor for primary/secondary and afterschool teaching from January 2024. Can you play a range of brass instruments? Do you enjoy teaching young people? If so, please read on further.

The Community Music Service (CMS) is seeking to appoint innovative a committed musician to join our highly successful teaching team. The tutor will be required to have knowledge of a variety of teaching styles and be able to teach whole class, small groups and individuals to a high standard from KS2 through to KS5. If you would enjoy the challenge of working for a successful music service and are passionate about instrumental teaching and inspiring young people, we would welcome your application.
Special Requirements for this Post
Instrumental tutors of Brass: all members of the brass family and specialism considered. With experience of a variety of instrumental styles and the ability to lead small ensembles.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including Disclosure check (Applicant Declaration must be completed and returned with application).
The post is Full Time, 1265 hours per year excluding school holidays . Up to 30 hours contact per week. The CMS has a 35 week Service Level Agreement for delivery of tuition to schools.
