Associate Teacher, Recorder and Music Makers
We are recruiting for Associate Teachers to teach group and individual recorder in primary schools in the borough. Many recorder teachers also deliver Music Makers sessions.
Recorder/Music Makers Teachers should preferably have taught, and be happy to teach, group and individual lessons to pupils from across the age range (ie academic years 1-6) and whose abilities range from beginner to grade 8. Previous experience of group/large group teaching in a school environment is beneficial.
Teachers must be able to commit to working for 30 weeks per year (10 weeks per academic term).
Rates
£29.03 per hour for standard small group instrumental tuition (Recorders)
£32.89 per hour for large group sessions (Music Makers)
Teachers are paid via PAYE and are eligible to join a Pension Scheme.
