Associate Music Teachers: Upper and Lower Strings

£27.13/£30.74 per hour

Richmond Music Trust delivers a range of teaching in primary and secondary schools including group/individual instrumental lessons and Wider Opportunities (WCET) programmes as well as lessons and orchestras/bands/ensembles in Richmond Music Trust Music Centres.

Teachers should preferably have taught, and be happy to teach, group and individual lessons to pupils from across the age range (ie academic years 2-13) and whose abilities range from beginner to grade 8. Experience of group teaching (max four per group) in a school environment and teaching on Wider Opportunities programmes is beneficial.

We are currently recruiting for teachers of Upper and Lower Strings. Teachers must be able to commit to working for 30 weeks per year (10 weeks per academic term). We employ well organised, reliable, flexible and committed individuals who are good at communicating with both children and adults. All teachers will be subject to DBS checks.

£27.13 per hour for standard small group instrumental tuition
£30.74 per hour for Large group / whole class sessions.

Teachers are paid via PAYE and are eligible to join the Teachers Pension Scheme.
