Associate Music Teachers
Our Associate Teachers deliver a range of teaching in primary and secondary schools including group/individual instrumental lessons and Wider Opportunities (WCET) programmes as well as lessons and orchestras/bands/ensembles in Richmond Music Trust Music Centres.

Pay:
- £27.13 per hour for standard small group instrumental tuition and Music Makers sessions.
- £30.74 for Wider Opportunities (WCET) sessions.
- Teachers are paid via PAYE and are eligible to join the Teachers Pension Scheme.
We are currently recruiting for Teachers of the following instruments:
- Strings (violin/viola/cello)
- Woodwind (flute/clarinet/saxophone)
- Recorder
Teachers should preferably have taught, and be happy to teach, group and individual lessons to pupils from across the age range (ie academic years 2-13) and whose abilities range from beginner to grade 8. Experience of group teaching (max four per group) in a school environment and teaching on Wider Opportunities programmes is beneficial.
Teachers must be able to commit to working for 30 weeks per year (10 weeks per academic term). We employ well organised, reliable, flexible and committed individuals who are good at communicating with both children and adults. All teachers will be subject to DBS checks.
