Bolton Music Service is seeking to appoint an experienced music service leader to the post of full time Assistant Head.

The successful applicant will have significant music leadership experience in a music service / school / local authority and will be responsible for key strategic developments within Bolton Music Service.

They will contribute to the regional development of music education through the Greater Manchester Music Hub and will be responsible for leading and motivating teams of music service teachers and ensemble directors, across a wide range of musical styles and genres.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate key abilities to work independently, in a range of teams, and will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, parents, teachers, school leaders and partners.
