AH Instrumental Music Teacher (Piano)

£23.46 - £24.40 per hour

Based at Surrey Arts, 14 The Pines, Broad Street, Guildford, GU3 3BH.

The current annual salary for this post is £17,595 per annum for 25 hours per week over 30 weeks, term time only, with the possibility to increase the salary if you build up your timetable and hours/weeks worked.

You will be flexible and willing to commit to working for up to 36 weeks of the year, during and after school hours is essential and potentially weekends too.

An enhanced DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List checks will be required for this role.

An inspirational and motivational teacher is required to impart a love of music to their pupils and others.

Surrey Arts is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed teacher of the piano to join their thriving team of music tutors. You will be working in schools and music centres across the county teaching piano and keyboard to individuals and small groups and will therefore need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.

In-service training and support is provided by Surrey Arts.
