Instrumental Music Teacher – Piano
Surrey Arts is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed teacher of the piano to join their thriving team of music tutors.
You will be part of an exciting new piano project, delivering group lessons to children and adults in a well-equipped studio in Woking, as well as teaching individuals in schools across the county.

£23.81 – £27.75 per hour. Up to £26,655 per annum, salary calculated pro-rata to hours worked. Minimum of 15 hours per week required

An enhanced DBS ‘Disclosure and Barring Service’ check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children’s and Adults’ Barred List checks will be required for this role.
About the Role
Surrey Arts is seeking to appoint a motivated and committed teacher of the piano to join their thriving team of music tutors.
You will be part of an exciting new piano project, delivering group lessons to children and adults in a well-equipped studio in Woking, as well as teaching individuals in schools across the county.
You will be flexible and willing to commit to working for up to 36 weeks of the year in term time. Availability during and after school hours is essential.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds a recognised music diploma, degree, or other recognised qualification.
Possesses a specialist knowledge of the piano and is able to perform to a high standard.
Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
Is aware of current initiatives in the UK music education system.
