Youth Ensembles and Partnerships

The Association of British Orchestras (ABO), Making Music and Music Mark are working together on behalf of their respective members, who manage, direct and develop ‘Youth Ensembles and Partnerships’
This day is about joining the dots between youth ensembles, professional orchestras and local amateur music groups. Putting young musicians at the heart of our discussions and building upon April 2016’s successful event, the day will include:
- ‘inspirational moments’ – case study presentations demonstrating effective partnerships;
- Child Performance Licensing – examples of best practice approaches;
- Orchestra Tax Relief (OTR) – how your ensemble can benefit.
The event is being hosted by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) at the CBSO Centre.
