Working with Cambiata Voices

The day is ideal training for anyone who works with cambiata voices, or ‘changing voices’, and would like to learn more and network with other like minded professionals. There will also be an OUP music stand at the event to help with all your repertoire needs, especially for cambiata voices!

The day will include sessions on:

  • Repertoire for Cambiata Voices led by Andy Brooke – composer, arranger and co-editor of OUP’s Emerging Voices series for boys’ changing voices.
  • Basic Conducting Skills led by Stuart Overington – conductor and animateur.
  • “From camp fire to Albert Hall.The elegant genius of cambiata.” a talk by Professor Martin Ashley – Emeritus Professor, Edge Hill University and specialist in cambiata voices, see more of his work here.
  • Cambiata in Practice led by Ian Crawford – teacher, arranger and conductor of abcd’s Cambiata NW Choir.
