This session will help teachers understand how their own voice works and what the main risk factors are. We will explore basic strategies to help alleviate any symptoms, ways to prevent issues from arising, and ways to get support.
Knowledge is power, and this session is all about empowering teachers to look after their own voices as well as advocating for themselves.
Teachers will explore:
- The basic functional anatomy of the voice
- What vocal load really is
- How to prevent and identify vocal fatigue, strain, and potential injuries
- Where to get help and how to avoid isolation
Got a question you’d like to bring to the session? We’d love to hear it!
