Celebrate 15 years of OHMI with an inspiring concert showcasing exceptional disabled musicians, boundary-breaking performances, alongside students and alumni of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. An uplifting evening honouring talent, innovation, and OHMI’s lasting impact on the musical world.

This unforgettable concert will feature an exciting variety of performances, from solos and duets to quintets and a spectacular massed ensemble. You’ll hear all the orchestral instruments you know and love, but many with an innovative twist.

Discover one-handed flutes and clarinets, brass instruments mounted on stands, digital musical instruments, and remarkable one-handed piano performances by musicians ranging from the very young to the young at heart. Think these instruments only provide entry-level access to music-making? Think again.

Prepare to be amazed by virtuosic performances of works including Carnival of Venice and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, alongside a wide-ranging and inspiring programme. Featuring an international line-up of outstanding musicians, this celebratory concert showcases not only groundbreaking instruments and technology, but also the extraordinary talent, artistry and ambition that OHMI has championed for the past 15 years.
