Ten Pieces CPD day

This session is for Primary classroom teachers with some experience of working with music in the classroom who want to develop and build skills and confidence.

Lead by composer, conductor and experienced education facilitator Patrick Bailey. The group session will include practical work with orchestral musicians, YMI instructors and other teachers to explore ways of using Ten Pieces in the classroom for Scottish primary schools.

Based around material from Ten Pieces the day will cover: delivering and developing creative lessons in your classroom; building your confidence in ensemble leading; a chance to explore inclusivity in a mixed classroom; and integrating numeracy and literacy alongside the Ten Pieces music material.
