Sounds SENDsational

This event will help you to have SENDsational music in your school or setting. Experience technologies old and new, solve your music education dilemmas, network and discover new ideas and technologies.

Workshops include:

  • “How do I…?” – real help in solving the problems & realising the possibilities that you are concerned with right now (led by Kenton Mann, Music Unlimited)
  • “Anyone Can Play” – an introduction to the major digital scheme of work as presented on Charanga (led by Susan Mann, Music Unlimited)
  • “Frequalise” – an in-depth project of its kind to explore how music making technology can be used to the greatest effect (led by Music & the Deaf, University of Huddersfield)
  • “Soundabout” – using music and sound to unlock the potential of children, young people and adults with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism.
