Sound! Singing Summit
A day of inspiring CPD placing singing at the heart of musical development, wellbeing and whole-school culture. Featuring Ex Cathedra, the Royal Ballet and Opera, Sing Up and more, alongside practical workshops, performances and expert sessions.

The Sound! Music Hub Singing Summit places singing at the heart of a day of inspiring professional development, practical workshops and creative learning, exploring singing as the golden thread that supports children’s musical development across all interrelated dimensions of music.
The conference features keynote sessions from Ex Cathedra, a world-class vocal ensemble leading the choral sector in performance, learning and wellbeing, and Rachel Waite, Director of Holistic Harmonies, exploring the power of singing for wellbeing, connection and community.
Alongside these keynote experiences, delegates can take part in practical workshops and breakout sessions from leading organisations including the Royal Ballet and Opera and Sing Up, covering topics such as opera and storytelling through song, whole-school singing cultures, vocal health and first aid, singing pedagogy, EYFS progression, and practical songs, warm-ups and teaching techniques. With performances, expert insight and opportunities to share ideas, delegates will leave inspired, confident and equipped with practical tools, resources and strategies to embed a sustainable culture of singing within their schools.
