A practical session addressing one of the most common challenges in community choir leadership: supporting singers who learn primarily by ear.

Led by ABRSM Voices Consultant Charles Béquignon-MacDougall, this session will equip you with essential tools, choral leadership techniques, and fun, practical activities to make singing a vibrant and inclusive part of your singing community.

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Utilise teaching strategies without reliance on notation
  • Manage mixed-experience ensembles
  • Build independence through listening, modelling and repetition
