Safe Singing in a post-Covid World

  • 22nd April 2021
  • 4.00pm - 5.00pm
  • Online

Join this Trinity Network event to explore how to get your singing programmes back safely. We will hear from people who have been able to restart their choirs or in-school singing activity, and welcome your experiences, challenges and solutions to how to bring singing back to our communities.

We are delighted to be joined by Becky Dell, Musical Director of the award-winning Citizens of the World Choir, and the feature of a New York Times article on how they resumed their choir rehearsals safely.

It’s rare that we get the opportunity to get together and really talk about the challenges and opportunities for us as music educators and practitioners. After a year of remote teaching and learning and lockdowns we’re missing those conversations even more.

This session is open to anyone involved in delivering singing activities – choir leaders, school or classroom based teachers, peripatetic teachers, musical theatre practitioners – you are all very welcome!

We will not be recording or sharing the discussion from these networking events. This is about creating a space for you to talk freely about your challenges and ideas in a supportive and creative environment.
