Primary Teaching Series: Providing equitable, diverse, & inclusive music in the Primary classroom

  • 19th March 2026
  • 3.30pm - 5pm
  • Online (Zoom)

Join us for our spring Primary School Music Teaching series session, this time with representatives from Albion Computers and Beat Goes On.

Text reading 'Primary School Music Teaching series' on a red background accompanied by illustration of primary school materials includng a satchel, notebook and pencil case.

This twilight will inspire and equip the primary classroom teacher with two very different approaches to support music making that is accessible to all using what is readily available in your primary school. Colleagues from Albion computers that specialise in digital learning will demonstrate music teaching and learning using ipads (if you have an iPad/ iphone you can install the GarageBand app for free and ‘play along’ using your device). Beat Goes On will then move the learning from the screen to the physical application of how you can teach musical concepts by using body percussion. There will be opportunity to ask specific questions about how to implement this training into your context.

Relevant for Primary phase teachers, including SEND/ alternative provision classroom teachers delivering Primary curriculum content.
