Newham Philharmonic’s October Series – Concert Two

  • 28th October 2016 - 28th October 2016
  • 3:30pm
  • Lister Community School

Join Newham Philharmonic, Newham’s newest orchestra, for Symphony no. 6 by Beethoven, under the baton of James Ham.

Newham Philharmonic is an exciting new orchestra for Londoners and was launched in late 2015. The mission of the orchestra is to give young people from Newham, across the capital and further-afield the opportunity to perform together in a high-quality orchestra at famous venues across London as well as community venues across Newham, under the guidance of a professional conductor.

Pauline Fautrat, Newham Philharmonic’s orchestra manager, had this to say:

“We are delighted to be back at Lister Community School this October, and very excited to add two new venues to the list of prestigious places Newham Philharmonic has performed at in the last year! We will be recruiting for new players for the 2017 season, so watch this space as you could be joining us on stage next year!”
