The new National Plan for Music Education makes positive strides towards recognising technology’s place in the music classroom, which has never been more important.
Music Teacher magazine’s third Music Technology in Education conference – taking place in central London on 2nd November – will provide inspiration, in-depth knowledge, and professional development for music teachers who want to discover new and accessible ways to engage all students in music through technology.
The carefully curated programme of expert speaker sessions will cover wide-ranging topics driven by three core focuses: developing the musician; composition; and inclusion. Each keynote session will raise ‘bigger picture’ questions and ideas, and will be followed with workshop-style breakouts split into primary and secondary.
Delegates will hear from practising music teachers and educators with time set aside for questions at the end of each session.
Essential for music teachers of all Key Stages, the CPD-certified conference follows the hugely successful 2020 and 2021 virtual events, offering the invaluable opportunity for all delegates to build upon their existing knowledge of music technology or learn something completely new.
Empowering the music teachers of today to best equip the musicians, teachers, producers, composers, and creatives of tomorrow, the Music Technology in Education 2022 conference is not to be missed.
