Rosie Rushton

Dr Rosie Rushton is a practice-based researcher whose work bridges academic research and music-making with people with learning disabilities. Her research interests include music education, disability, and playfulness.
Currently, Rosie is the Director of Big Top Musical Adventures CIC, a Lecturer in Music Education at RNCM, and a Research Associate in the Intellectual Disabilities Research Institute at the University of Birmingham.

Peter Imray

Peter has worked in special education since 1986, teaching learners aged 2–19 with a wide range of learning needs and holding senior leadership roles at The Bridge School in London. He now works as an independent consultant supporting schools across the UK with curriculum development, assessment and teacher coaching. Peter is Developments Director and Trustee at Equals and an Associate Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
