MEC’s Winter Seminar which will focus on Quality and Progression. Be a part of shaping the music education sector’s strategy for music education. During the day there will be plenty of opportunity for networking with people from parts of the music education sector you might not normally come in contact with.

The afternoon will provide opportunities to discuss quality and progression from the perspective of the areas focussed on through the MEC Working Groups.

Members and non-members equally welcome – if you are a members of music education body then check whether it is a MEC member – if it is you also qualify as a member.

10.30 Registration

11.00 Welcome and introduction

11.10 to 12.30 4 x 20 min presentations:

  • Jenny Curtis – Department for Education

12.30 to 13.15 Lunch and networking

13.15 to 15.15 Group meetings according to MEC Working Group areas

15.15 to 16.15 Tea / Coffee and further networking opportunity
