MEC Seminar of 2018

  • 12th December 2018 - 12th December 2018
  • 12:45 – 16:00 pm
  • Colston Hall Colston Street Bristol

Making Music Education Inclusive:being inclusive rather than doing inclusion

Inclusiveness is the extent to which an organisation has people from diverse backgrounds or communities involved as board members and staff; and the extent to which its activities provide opportunities for all children and young people to take part on equal terms.

This event explores the importance of inclusion at both structural and service levels and presents examples of best practice from youth voice to governance. It welcomes presentations from Drake Music, AYM, Sound Connections Youth Music and Bristol Music Trust.
